The North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) is a non-profit hunger-relief organization that provides access to nutritious meals for children, seniors, and families in North Texas. They distribute food through a network of feeding programs and partner agencies in 13 counties.
Lena Pope, since 1930, is a Tarrant County non-profit that invests in children’s well-being through evidence-based programs in child development, mental health, and family support.

North Texas’ largest culinary event and the nation’s second longest running restaurant week campaign, the DFW Restaurant Week officially kicks off Aug. 5-11, with most of the restaurants extending dining for additional weeks, through Sept. 1. Many restaurants also offer a head start on dining with DFW Restaurant Week Preview Weekend, Aug. 1-4. Explore a variety of cuisines with premier restaurants across Dallas, Tarrant, Collin and Denton counties through an expanded selection of prix-fixe menu dining options – including lunch, weekend brunch, dinner and Signature Experience dinners. Approximately 20 percent of the cost of each meal will be donated to NTFB in the Dallas area or Lena Pope in the Tarrant area.

2023 Star Restaurants
Last summer North Texans dined out for a cause with DFW Restaurant Week 2023, raising $545,128 in charitable donations benefiting the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) and Lena Pope. The campaign also generated much needed business for local restaurants and is recognizing top participation with the announcement of its annual DFW Restaurant Week Star Restaurant Awards.
